Postnova Analytics presents this webinar on Field-Flow Fractionation (FFF), a versatile family of methodologies that can be used to characterize a multitude of sample types. FFF’s ability to separate a large range of particle sizes and interface to a wide range of detectors makes it amenable to numerous applications, including measurements of size, shape, zeta potential, elemental composition, and aggregation.

Dr. Chad Cuss describes his research in the area of environmental colloids using Field-Flow Fractionation coupled to Inductively Coupled Plasma – Mass Spectrometry (FFF-ICP-MS). An overview of FFF-ICP-MS and the sampling site on the Athabasca River will be presented, followed by a discussion of results from the S.W.A.M.P. lab at the University of Alberta.
