Dr. Chad Cuss describes his research in the area of environmental colloids using Field-Flow Fractionation coupled to Inductively Coupled Plasma – Mass Spectrometry (FFF-ICP-MS). An overview of FFF-ICP-MS and the sampling site on the Athabasca River will be presented, followed by a discussion of results from the S.W.A.M.P. lab at the University of Alberta.
