Postnova hosts our project partners from the Interreg project MikAlp at our Headquarters in Landsberg

We were delighted to host our project partners from the Interreg project MikAlp at our Headquarters in Landsberg – Institute of Analytical Chemistry and Radiochemistry from the Universität Innsbruck, the Institute of Water Chemistry and Chair of Analytical Chemistry (TUM) of the Technische Universität München and the S+H Laboratory for Innovative Analytics.

Focus was on exchanging the latest project progress and performing laboratory experiments on innovative concentration methods to optimize the analysis of micro- and nanoplastics in the environment using our Field-Flow Fractionation (FFF) technology.

A particular highlight was the sampling campaign conducted together with the Bavarian Enviroment Agency (LfU) in Wielenbach, where we used the LfU's filter cascade to collect drinking water samples following the procedure described in the EU Directive 2020/2184 https://eur-lex.europa.eu/eli/dir/2020/2184/oj
Stay tuned for more results!

We're at Anakon2025!

Michaela Mühlbauer and Florian Meier are happy to discuss all things FFF, MALS, and beyond!

You'll find us at our booth on the second floor, in lecture hall 9. Today, March 11, from 3:30-3:50 pm, Florian will present the coupling of AF4 and SAXS for the characterization of mRNA nanoparticles and in poster session 2, where Michaela will show latest results in the development of nanoplastic reference materials!

Postnova is the manufacturer of analytical instruments based on Field-Flow Fractionation (FFF). With an application range of 1 nm to 100 µm and 1000 Da up to many MDa, the Postnova platform is a great analytical tool for the separation/characterisation of particles, polymers, proteins, viruses, antibodies, liposomes or exosomes in complex aqueous/organic matrices. Postnova provides the complete range of FFF techniques including Asymmetrical FlowFFF, Electrical AF4, CentriFFF and ThermalFFF along with its detection systems as MALS, DLS, RI and ICP-MS.
