We would like to invite you to participate in the symposium:

to be held as part of the 238th ACS National Meeting & Exposition, August 16-19, 2009, in Washington, DC.

For details please take a look also at the homepage: www.acs.org.

The objective of this symposium is to provide a forum to discuss applications of field-flow fractionation in various areas of science and technology along with the limitations and challenges, and to create a platform for further collaboration among FFF researchers.

We encourage scientists from industry and academia to submit abstracts in the following areas: Detection and characterization of proteins and pharmaceutical macromolecules, emulsions, viruses, vaccines, environmental colloids, particles, carbon and metal oxide nanoparticle and nanotubes.

If you are interested in presenting a lecture, we would appreciate if you submit your abstract(s) directly to the OASYS website (http://oasys.acs.org/) to the session entitled: “Application of Field-Flow Fractionation in characterization of macromolecules and nanoparticles” in the division of Analytical Chemistry (ANYL). The abstract deadline is March 30.

Sincerely,

Soheyl Tadjiki, P. Stephen Williams, Shoeleh Assemi (co-chairs)
